In this episode of our House Rebuild Updates, we take our first look at the materials and finishes proposed for The Brickhouse.

We go through the brick facade, cobblestone car porch, living room tiles, bathroom finishes, sink details, shower layout, staircase railing and boundary fencing.

Some choices look great on paper, but the real question is always practicality. Will cobblestone be hard to maintain? Should we use homogeneous tiles or marble? Is brick in a bathroom a bad idea? Are two showers in the master bathroom useful or just too extra?
